What are some ways to make your website popular. I have an image hosting website and I dont know where to market it.
I would imagine you would market it the way people market other sites through forums, article marketing and social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Adding your URL to your signature would be a good place to start.
How well are you monetizing it? We've been promoting ours with adwords and the ROI isn't that bad. Many of the visitors bookmark the site or come back again. In terms of SEO, it would be similar to any other site.
Try Social Bookmarking, Facebook, and places where your competitors are advertising/marketing. Look into photobucket and tinypic see what they are doing right...
