hello dp'ers! I have 2 or 3 blog type landing pages that are essentially one female model with a blurb about her and a link to an adult date affiliate... I'm tired of class ad postings and the run around game and challenges associated with it.... does anyone have any experience at an alternate way to market this type of one dimensional page??? (trying to avoid facebook or myspace, although I have not put any effort forth in myspace because links get shutdown after a short period I wanted to avoid that, unless someone knows a creative way and facebook or twitter I was hoping to avoid those rat races.... I may be putting myself in a corner then again maybe there are alternate marketing methods...) thanks roomies!!! your suggestion would certainly be really appreciated and hopefully one I can use! Hey AMF, I specialize in adult dating and am sure I can help you out. Question though, are you looking to promote these landing pages as standalones or do you have other traffic sources you can call on for them? Blog networks work especially well for promoting adult dating sites, as you can generate traffic directly to them as well as earn additional revenue through other affiliate offerings and even the selling of hard links ad space. There's a lot of automated tools you can use to build out an army of dating blogs fairly quickly.

I'm not really sure to the extent that I didn't know how to proceed nor if there was any "options" in the sense of what you mentioned.... Since I don't have any other "sources" I assume that option is out for me and that instead I fall into the "stand alone" variety can you give me or direct me to any info relating to "blog networks" and how I might market that way? I realize that may be a huge question so if it is too "large" any mild direction or suggestions about starting or trying that would be very helpful ( BTW my budget is "ZERO" !) and again I really appreciate it AMF~!
Well the basic idea is to build out one blog using WordPress that you're happy with. Customize a theme, add some plugins, put up some banners, fill it with a few posts (you can use feeds from dating sites for this) and then ping the search engines through it. To do all this you only need a domain and a hosting account somewhere. No other costs are necessary. Then you use this base blog to build out more, as many as you can afford domains for. (I wouldn't recommend subdomains, many bloggers won't trade links with subs). Change the theme up a bit for each one and try to mix up the posts so the blogs aren't dupes. Be sure to link wheel each one using web 2.0 sites and over a short bit of time you should start seeing some love from the SE's! Once you have a dozen or so of these up you should find it very easy to promote your dating sites since you'll have your own little self generating source of traffic
adrian I appreciate it... certainly a different approach than I've been using.. I know you can't show me a working PP or PDF on what might be considered a laid out working scheme, probably hard to come by..... BUT, would you happen to know of such a blog that I can look at ? (doesn't matter who's it is anything like it) at least I can see how something like that is put together and the type of info it has? if not I understand..... AMF~!
