Ask yourself: Why would potential customers go to the web to look for such a service? They look in the Yellow Pages, and whatnot. Advertise OUTSIDE the Net.

You have a roofing website and considering a directory? Why not work on your site so that people can easily look you up in the internet? I suggest you beef up your site, put relevant articles,tips, product guides to help customers when they're searching for info. And if your site is not attracting targeted traffic, you need to do a major overhaul on your site to make it more SEO friendly.
