Doing link exchanges for a new site is very very risky and could mean its sandboxed for a few years. Also, submitting to search engines isn't needed.
Hi Dps! I'm over the moon now! I just got listed on cssmania, screenalicious and mostinspired site, so I guess this give me a head start (at least let a little part of the world) know my site exists! I'm still thinking of finding ways to make it known. For a start, I've submitted to 200+ search engine already. Put a link on my previous blog... now, not sure what's the next plan. Maybe by word of mouth?
You can buy the back links from the sites and blogs have the pr. You can try for this one.[myseminars.blogspot.com and orkuters.blogspot.com. Its mine. You can try for this one.
make a lens on Squidoo! That way you will start your own buzz marketing campaign without even spending money. Cool, ain't it!
a good direct way to immediately kick start the advertising is to use MYspace - it was designed for such networking.
An exceptional way to do marketing online while maximizing your budget is engaging in cross promotional advertising. When looking for those products to cross promote with you will want to look for those that will compliment your product, for example if you sell printers you will want to cross promote with a company that sells printer ink, paper, etc. And this is because you will not be competing against another company you will be enhancing both of your products at no cost for advertising. This will provide convenience for your customer because they will have all they need on your website. ______________________ Bre D. www.csgserver.com
Use a well reputed SEO service and be on top of search engines like google, yahoo, msn- for many keywords. But it may cause a little more than your budget.
I would write some informative, related articles and post them in the better known article directories such as ideamarkers.com and/or ezinearticles.com. Posting a press release on PRWEB.com is another good way to get some bang for your bucks.
Thats a prett neat idea. Good luck with your site. I think it may do quite well on its own because people will link to it.
when it comes to marketing your idea online or just spreading the buzz around you have to use everything. Post in forums and blogs, use social networking and bookmarking sites, lenses in squidoo could work as well. Let's not forget the almighty press releases. Another good way of doing this is by doing reviews of websites, blogs, tools and services. Most of the well known an d pro bloggers do this. They earn money and increase their traffic at the same time by doing that.
