How to market a dating/picture rating site?

Does anyone know how to market a dating/picture rating site?

I have tried myspace advertising, but its such a short term solution.

I have also tried link exchanges, but most dating websites dont let you advertise YOUR own dating site on theres lol

My site is a mix between a dating site and a picture rating site. So, I am in the need of girls and guys, aged 18 to 40

any ideas guys?

Yes, that would be a good idea before you get traffic to have some pretty good looking profiles ready to be rated.

Myspace seems like the only way to me, but as you said it doesn't work

 

Start an affiliate program.
Pay affiliates 1$ or so for each profile or you can set it as a pay per click program.

That would give webmasters motivation to direct traffic to you site.

I think that clixgalore.com has a couple of picture rating sites in their affiliate program category.
I advise you to take a look.
