I have created (or rather updated) a browser game and i am wondering what are good (and free) ways to advertise it? Cheers!
why not advertise it on some forum where they talk about games similar to yours .... btw can we see it ?
free ways : SU and digg (Also you can think about advertisin at SU) Also you can post the website here so we can check it : ) Also you can advertise via cpmstar or google adwords. But browser games are dead nowadays. EDIT : First you should fix the script Sorry You or someone with your IP Address has already registered... Also you should hire a prof web designer.
tell us what's the url to see the game only if you want good ways to advertise are : SEO or if you want instant results AdWords, Yahoo Marketing ...

Right now it needs some fixing up which i am doing as much as i can but i need advertising for more people to find errors and also help me advertise. I have no money to hire a designer either Thank you for your suggestions so far.

Bump - Game has been updated, many bugs fixed and now you get 250 credits for each new player you refer.
I know you are not asking for advice about the actual site design, but it wouldn't hurt to add screenshot or two and bit more info about the game onto the homepage. I could not really understand what the game was about, is it an MMORPG or single player game? do I have to pay or is it free? A bit more info would help with getting sign ups. (and the link to the forum doesn't work) For advertising I'd look for some link dump sites in your niche.
Good idea felix about the screenshouts and info will do that tonight, thanks a lot! It is a text/image based MMORPG. There is no current forum, but i may set that up tonight, or remove the link on the frontpage. What is a link dump site?
I believe there is a popular top 10 list of such browser based games. I can't recall where I seen it however we have a couple of the top 10 games and based on conversations with the owners the top 10 sites they are on are really popular. There is also a forum. Now only if I knew the url off the top of my head.
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Sadly it did not come to me off the top of my head by try doing some searchs for Top RPG's.
