How to manage Adwords of a company ......

    Is it difficults to manage the adwords of the company and i want to know how to manage adwords and how much can it help in bringing the traffic to our site.

    Managing a Google Adwords account or any other sponsored domain account ( Yahoo/msn/ask/rediff) is not difficult provided if you are clear with the concet of advertising on these domains.
    IMPORTANT: You first need to identify the end objective of advertising online. Once you do that, you can move on to asking specific questions, based on the answer the advertiser gives you. Ask the highlighted question first and then move on to asking the other questions. Be sure to ask only if the scenario matches.

    What do you want to achieve out of your advertising online?

    * Have lots of people see your ads online
    * Build your brand online
    * Drive more traffic to your website
    * Receive a lot of conversions on your site
    * Show only for keywords and only on Google
    * Show your ads up on many content sites
    * Show your ads on specific content sites



    If you want to show your ads online, do you want to:

    * Show only on Google
    * Show on Google and some partners
    * Show on as many sites as possible
    * Show on sites like Orkut & YouTube



    If you want to build your brand online, do you want to:

    * Build it only on Google
    * Build it on Google and some partners
    * Build it on as many sites as possible
    * Build it on sites like Orkut & YouTube
    * Use Image & Animated ads



    If you want to drive more traffic to your website, ask the following:

    * Are there specific pages on the site you want to drive traffic to
    * What are the other methods you use to drive traffic?
    * How much traffic are you looking for on a daily basis?



    If you want to receive a lot of conversions on your site, do you:

    * Have conversion tracking or Google Analytics enabled?
    * Can you share that information with your account management team?
    * If not, can the team please set it up for you?
    * What sort of conversions are you looking at on your site?
    * How many conversions are you looking at on a daily basis?



    If you want to show only for keywords and only on Google:

    * Why don’t you want to show on the content network?
    * Would you like to show on the search partner network?
    * What keywords are most important to your business?



    If you want to show your ads up on many content sites:

    * Why don’t you want to show up on the search network?
    * What sort of bidding would you prefer? CPC or CPM?
    * Do you have specific sites in mind or do you just want to target a list based on topic?
    * Are there any specific sites you don’t wish to show up on?
    * Do you want to use Image & Animated ads
