I find it hard to do 8 per week and you do that in a day? I have some serious doubts about the quality of your blogs. And if you have those simple, hey look what I found posts all the time, I'm sure that is not what is going to keep your readers interested.
If the quality is there or not, doing so many in such a short time on a daily basis sets you up for burnout in the future. I agree with previous posters that you could go through a period where you are writing up loads of entries for future dates and schedule them ahead. This way, should you have some issue, say with health, vacation, crisis, etc, you'll be covered for those down times. Just ask yourself if the added quantity boosts your viewership. If not, then keep the entries down to the minimum that won't sacrifice public interest. And, yes, quality over quantity. Really, there are so many blogs out there that a viewer will just pass you by if they find you aren't creating value. It's not just about attraction, it's about retention too.
I would think you would get penalized or something cause the search engines think you're using feeds :S I would get you're blog to a total of like 50 posts, then just do like 2 really great quality ones a day. I mean, you should be rewriting them and making them as interesting and informative as possible.
I agree with the others. Manage your posts. Do good research and make 1 post per day on each blog. If you write 2 for one on the same day, just publish that one the next day. This way, people will see you update the blog with quality content every day and they keep coming back. I dont think people will want to read 8 new posts a day.
I aim for one quality post every 2-3 days, more than 1 or 2 a day may look like auto-generated content to 'bots
10 posts per day = burnout. Seriously reconsider or hire content authors. It will become a drag especially if you intend on delivering QUALITY content. I'd say 4 a day well written is much better and even that takes time & effort or deep pockets.
