It's an established fact among web developers that Google is the number one search engine in the world. Websites get an average of 90% of their search engine traffic directly from Google. This makes it especially important to obtain search engine optimization advice from a well-known and reputable source. If you trust just anyone you are risking your reputation, and your website's Google ranking! Aiming at a high rank and web traffic and getting indexed by Google is a tedious process that only web developers with sufficient SEO experience can achieve. Getting the right search engine optimization advice helps you stay ahead of your competitors. The most basic step in site optimization and getting indexed by Google is choosing the right keywords. Targeting specific keywords is a smarter SEO optimization practice rather than using general or generic ones. Besides picking an appropriate URL and title tag, the toughest part of the Google SEO process involves back linking. This is where good search engine optimization advice comes in. Back links are websites that link directly to your website. The rule of the game is: the more back links you have, the higher your web pages will be ranked. Google would figure that you have a good website if others are linking back to your pages. Setting up back links takes time. If you're hoping to drive more web traffic to your site yet lack enough time to do it yourself, make sure you are getting SEO advice before you attempt to do it yourself. Or better yet, try outsourcing your links to a reputable link builder!
I have much better advice....... go read SEO Book. (Blog & Forums) Do you really think people can achieve #1 by reading your vague couple of sentences.
Look, I did put up my site 4 weeks ago and it's between no. 1 and 7 on google ranking for my keywords/phrases. Great ! Isn't it ? Ok (I studied well since I was fired I used common sense (--> see basic rules)... PLUS --> it's ON google "geolockized" for Italian keywords, I deduct that where you don't have much "competitive" keywords optimization you still can "trick" the algo. I don't know, but that's what come from my humble analysis. If you are working on an English site optimization it is natural that you're going to have to work harder (backlinks, timeframe, PR ranks, etc...). I can be wrong, but that's my feeling ;-)
Pretty much like it. But once SEO is our concern, we will never know how many new tricks will be created.
It ain't that easy. It take time and effort to get good SEO and a combination of keywords, backlinks, titles and all others. Even though you might not get indexed as fast as you think..
SEO takes time to complete but your paragraphs do not clearly say how to achieve some great results. Since several years ago so far, the global webmasters have been adding contents and links to their websites and the results have been good. Based on the competitiveness of the niches targeted, varying amounts of links might be needed but after some time the results could be truly amazing. Reading and learning are going to be definitely needed, especially the forums and blogs which illustrate which new SEO points are there to explore and study.
This is quite poor advice. Best not to provide "Advice" on topics that you need to read up on. I'd love to hear what you have to say in another year when you've had chance to read up on SEO strategies.
Although i am not some expert in SEO but i have seen some better and more detail advice. Thanks for sharing though.
To the OP it really is not that tedious to get page one rankings for many niches and keyword terms. Your title on this post says how to but really does not tell us how to but more like .... what is needed. Backlinks are not tedious either ... just do a search in the forum an you will discover that it really is not that difficult. Most of the tedious work can be reduced by selecting the right niches and keywords. Using the right software and doing manual, semi and automatic backlinks it is not that difficult to build 2000 + links to a site in a month.
I believe in quality works not quantity. There are two main things to make your website or blog to get no1 on search engine. A) Content - Content is king. If you have great and useful content, this will help you to get new visitor, returning visitor and attract visitor to spend more time in your site/blog. B) Back-link - Because link is like a vote. Each link show your website importance. Getting many links is not enough, it should be in organic way and follow white hat SEO.
I agree on you as I'm also one of those people outsourcing this myself. Well, I think it's much affordable to hire someone doing all these stuffs while you receive more and more results progressively rather than doing this alone and spending a whole lot of hours while also lacking focus to the "earning" areas of the business such as contacting clients, generating more affiliates, etc for campaigns. Having an internet business is so much of work online or even offline as you meet new ventures in life to develop it and I definitely can recommend outsourcing for most of those who've already gained enough revenue to spend leisure time out.
