How to make your site more searchable?

Hi Guys,

I just would like to know how to make my site searchable in google. Does it have something to do with the layout. Some says the layout of my blog sucks. :-(

Can you give me your honest opinion on how readable my blog is? And if it has any chance of becoming more searchable.
