Hello. Could anyone tell me how to make your forum be on the front page of the site, rather than in a sub folder? I am running Yabb, and it came as part of the web hosting package, so it automatically has its sub folder set to /forum. I would prefer it to come up as soon as people type in the name .com Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
Copy the installation in the root folder. I suggest you download a newer version. The installations on Cpanel are usually not the latest versions.
You can do it with the .htaccess file as well but the best approach to do that will be by moving your files from the forums directory to the home (public_html) directory.
