Hi Dp Members, Looking for some suggestions and precious advices from you about "How to use our skill set in a proper manner. About us: We are and freelancer group and offering a wide range of services, from data entry to web based customer care executives and having 5+ experience. This is to mention here that we still have some regular clients and enjoying some good projects with them. But still i feel we are not getting what we are worth for. So throw some light covering how to increase our business, how to market our skill set so that we can have some good clientage..... Thanks in advance, Shadab'
Are you targetting people from English-speaking countries? Because you need to work on your website copy / even just the way you communicate. I'm not ragging on your language skills, but it might be a good idea to hire an English native to communicate with clients from English-speaking countries, as I find it quite difficult to understand you. Good luck!
Thanks for suggestion, yes we working already with clients from US and CANADA. And also looking forward to gain some new ones as well. I generally deal with my clients and this is ok. On Second thought as far as the langauge is concern... are you pointing to writing style?
It's the grammar, the syntax, and the style yes. I'm looking at the first paragraph of your website: Besides being grammatically incorrect (the sentences aren't really sentences), you use peculiar words and phrases that someone from an english-speaking country would not ususally use. I find your client testimonial a little strange as well: Also, I'm a little curious - why combine Indian Handicrafts and Webdesign into one website/service? They seem like two distinctly different markets. You might want to narrow your focus.
Thanks for your precious advices, we work with two industry at the same time just under banner. Offering it enabled services + indian handicraft products. I respect your advices, and has already started to give shape to a new template for my website. Will try to have rich content for that. do you suggest anythings about "indian handicraft products section", should we have as a seprate subdomain/folder.. somthing like www.magicsolv.com/handicraft or handicraft.magicsolv.com thanks a lot
No problem, Yes, I think you should have a seperate subdomain, maybe a seperate template/site. I just don't see how web services and handicrafts go together! I'm sure there are some people who would be interested in both, but generally they are two different markets. I would split up the services and focus on each one differently, targetting different demographies.
we have been doing the same jobs for our client and today i realised how bad we are at our website, i didnt pay attentation to that. but now i am moving for that. thanks for your advice and putting us some good views. i have already started desiging a new template for the website and talking with my reg writer to write some rich content for our company as well. Covering the handicraft as well with subdomain. Thanks for your valuable advices and suggestions.
