hello i had recently installed my first blog in wordpress but unfortunately it was too slow. my server is really fast like other servers. whenever i open my website it take around 10 seconds to load and sometime 20 seconds to load. like when you enter the weburl of my site in address bar then it display nothing. but after 10 to 20 seconds it display the whole site in once. Any one know about this problem? how to fix it? i want to make my blog faster.
Can you give your URL? There a many things you can do to speed up the process and I'm willing to give you some free advice.

Disable useless plugins. Reduce queries in your theme files, and also optimize your css files. Reduce size of graphics in your theme.
Make sure you have the latest and greatest wordpress version and that all the plug-ins are current Then go through the plug-ins - deactivate them all and then one by one check the speed as you reactivate them Next is checking any scripts or widgets or other typical sidebar mayhem - sometimes removing them can make a drastic difference If you continue having problems after that (or even if you deactivate all the plug-ins and use the default theme & is still slow) check with your host, maybe something isn't right on their end?
This loads fine for me. As others suggested try uninstalling some plugins if it's too slow on your part.
