Any idea on how to make a video for me to promote my product? Other than that, I need to know what software is the good software for me to use for editing video. Please help if you know. Thanks

If you didn't have any past experience in making videos, you should use Window Movie Maker. It is simple, has understandable explanations and also possesses some good effects.

It took me around half a day in order to understand the main concepts of this program. As a result, I was able to make a nice video.

For a beginner, Windows Movie Maker is definitely the easiest to use. You can easily make a 1-minute video using powerpoint slides and windows movie maker. I've also seen some videos use Jing software (basically makes screen captures) these are used mostly for instructional videos.

For for more experienced editors... go for Premiere (30 day trial)

Camtasia rocks it. It's not hard to use, but it costs a couple hundred bucks. For the simple, cheap and easy, I would go with Win Movie Maker.

I'd like to recommend AVS Video Editor to you, I always use it to edit video and make funny video for uploading to Youtube, it's easy to use and the quality is awesome, you can crop, cut, join, edit video with it easily. It also embeds many special effects, you can even add text to video or add background music, that's pretty cool. It worth a try
Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question

CamStudo is FREE and does screen activity captures very easily.
    I've made dozens that way!

Windows movie maker is good too.

Both free - just the way I like it.

Well, I agree that free is a great way to get started but if you want to make videos look at least half way professional you'll need to get a decent
program. Camtasia is pricey but gets the job done. You can try VideoPad editor free for 14 days but there's a special on right now till the end
of this month ( like 3 days left) that will save some money so try it out and see if you like it.

I picked it up and it rocks :)

    Good luck!
