How to make trackbacks?

i can see many sites are getting backlinks through trackbacks , this does well in msn ..

for eg , i can see these wordings in many blogs

can anyone plz tell me how i can do trackbacks in order to get backlinks ? What is the procedure?

Arent trackbacks tagged with rel=nofoolw like comments are?

 

I think you can make trackbacks with Movable Types. I do not know if other blogging softwares allow it or not. Yes, Shabda, trackbacks are similar to comments and comments also give you back links too, if I am not wrong. SO, trackbacks provide you back links too.

 

i use wordpress for my blogs , can i make trackbacks?

 

No cooments have rel=nofollw and hence donot give any backlinks.

 

I have a lot of blogger comments (hence nofollow) that show up as backlinks
