My Site page Title is India Luxury Tour | Luxury Resorts | Luxury Tour Packages www.indialuxurytour.com Code (markup): But i have seen in another site having similar titles in commas. When i m searching my site is nowhere and only that site is showing on the page. I believe comma's are best to put multiple titles in the pages. But i m confused please help me out. thanks in advance shashank
It doesn't related to the title of your and your competitors title. Your competitor ranks higher because his website has more quality backlinks for these keywords and you should make backlinks for your website from quality websites to compete his website.
Comma's, hyphens or pipes, it really doesn't matter. Google will likely filter out such characters before it is used in the Algorithm. The way I see it is that hypens or pipes look better to the user and Google tells us to develop the web site for the user not for search engines, therefore I stick to hyphens or pipes when I prepare my page title's.
I always try to use the pipe to separate keywords. Usually sound best for the user, as if breaking down expressions. Each thing in its corner.
i'm not sure, but i think it's not a problem. i think google ignore "|" and "," spells. your competitor just have more relevancy page, that's all
Google still can rank your keyword if you put commas in your title....It does't matter as long as your keyword still in the tittle... what you need is just add more high quality backlins to your site...and then your site will ranked well in Google...
I think there are a couple things you have to do in order to achieve decent rankings. 1. have the keywords you're page is focusing on in the title match with those the content is about. Also if you combine this with good linking practices and have anchor text that uses not only the keyword you're focusing on, but associative keywords as well, you'll be golden. Cheers.
I forgot to say that in my experience commas or pipes don't really matter, but pips break up your keywords better visually so I prefer to use them on my projects.
"Develop your site for users not for search engines" use , pipes or hyphen doesnt matter. try to analyze your competitors they are having better link that's why they are appearing on 1st page of google
i generally use pipes or hyphen to separate titles. but it doesnt matter try to make quality and same theme backlinks for your site to get good ranking in search engines
Try to optimize your title with location at the end like xxx xxx xxx in india... or use the keywords which are high in competition then...
Hello, We have generally use pipe(|) and (-) and commas it is good point of SEO . We have target only keywords of web pages with separate space.
their is no difference between separators . you can use any of them but pipes and hyphen looking user friendly
it doesnt matter whether you use commas or pipes, content and quality backlinks is all that matters...
