How to make this kind of website using Wordpress?

How to make this kind of website? I was wondering if it is possible to make a website where users can post their ads in different categories....sort of a buy, sell and trade website with Wordpress.

Of course I can make every ad a blogpost, but maybe there are plug-ins or better solutions?

Also the advanced search functionality seems a difficult thing to me.

 

You can use premium classified wordpress theme for that purpose.. =)

 

You can try a wordpress plugin called role-scoper, try googling it...

hire a freelancer developer and web designer they can do this job easily in some dollars..

Of course you can let somebody or program all features yourself..... but that was not my question.

oh, sorry about the misunderstanding.. No, I have no idea making such a website using wordpress. perhaps, joomla. but I am no expert in joomla.

 

Yeah you can definitely make that in Joomla. Some of my friends made similar sites in joomla, but they often have compatibility problems after installing upgrades.

You need to re-size the box for you ads, and decrease the width of the center box. Also, reduce the font-size / text on the left sidebar. Hope it helps. Are you familiar in using css already? Do you use table or div?
