You might have bigger problems than that.

It crashed IE6 twice in a row on me while trying to load the home page.

I would redesign the home page to eliminate a lot of the graphics it doesnt matter if the images are moved to CSS background properties they still have to load at some point.

Yikes, glad I asked. I'll redesign the page tomorrow.

I recently read about something called GNU. I'm more of an SEO guy than a web design guy. I bought macromedia's suite and am self taught, don't like to have others design for me because I'm a a seller and writer, don't care what it looks like as long as it sells, and our site does just that. But I'm also getting a lot of complaints about our page being slow, so I have to weigh the two fields of thought. I've decided that to load fast is very important. I want to make a gnu haome page and utilize CSS. I'm at the bottom of the mountain and ready to begin my journey. Any other advise is appreciated. (Will remember you granters of knowledge if you ever need a text link, lol)

To make the page load much faster. (air purifiers, link below) I also made the page WC3 compliant.

I used firefox's tidy extension to "clean up" the page and add CSS. I have a CSS file however, do I need to put the CSS ref's they created in that file or is it okay the way it is? Thanks in advance for the help. Mike

Your home page load up very fast here with IE and FF :)

Home page is showing 1 warning in line 97... Proprietary attribute "Height" isn't allow in the table tag.
    ... table width="927" height="96" border="0"

Here is a site that is good for a free online page analysis and to improve website performance. Web Page Analyzer Good Luck!

Use gzip module. It can boost page load greatly.
