Maybe you can use money to buy a successful domain name ,but how can you make your domain name famous without money???

Anyhow the thing is there are probably a few thousands posts on here about how to drive traffic to a site, make it big, etc.

I don't see why people ask general questions like this like it's a magic trick or something as soon as they join the forum without reading anything.

 

I have had minimal traffic from the free online press release sites. All I get is spam to the posted email addy. Make sure you use a throw away email addy.

 

If you want good traffic do a real press release, not a free online one.

My advice would be to build up a website & make it big, then you'll have a famous domain like YouTube

 

Use your domain name in email/business card/forum signature.

 

Anything you promote well will become popular. The greater you promote the greater that name will spread.

If you have no money to promote, offer anything useful to people free of charge.
