How to make sure my sites are legally associated with my LLC

I have two forums and have formed two LLCs. I know I need to talk to a lawyer but was hoping to get some info here.

How do I make sure my websites are associated with the LLCs I have created?

Do I list the LLC and address it in the footer?
Make sure the domains are in the LLCs name
    Software in LLCs name?

    Advice appreciated! Thanks!

You transfer the ownership of the forums to the LLC. Contractually. You can also change the domain details to show the new owner.

I would also make sure that your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service say something like:

Welcome to the web site of XYZ Company, LLC, dba xyz.com.

It is important to be consistent. While I think that the name of the registrant is probably the most important, any apparent inconsistency anywhere can open the door to an argument that the LLC is not the true owner.

Get a contract drawn up between you and the LLC. Any attorney can do this for you.
