    hi guys,

    till now I was only making sites in english but felt to build something in non-english. I have no idea how to do this. I am using a standard 108 key english keyboard with no foreign characters. Do I need to use UTF-8 codes ?

    Hmm... I don't know if this will help... But my parents use Chinese at home and this is how they do it:

    1.) Control Panel
    2.) Regional and Language Options
    3.) Go to--> tab "Languages"
    4.) For East Asian languages, you have to check the "Install files for East Asian Languages" option and click apply for it to install. After that, go to step 5.
    5.) Under text services and input languages--> "Details.."
    6.) Under installed services--> Click "Add" and choose your preferred language.
    7.) You can set your key settings under preferences and then click OK.

    The key setting on my parent's comp. is Ctrl + Shift and whenever they need to type chinese, they just press Ctrl + Shift, which allows them to input the chinese characters/alphabet.

    They can input these characters using an onscreen keyboard with chinese layout or (if they memorized the placement of the layout) they can just use their normal keyboard. The onscreen keyboard can be opened via the language taskbar.

    I don't know if this will help. This is the best I can explain it. But yeah.

    kbye.
