Hi, I am continously reading that you need to get fresh content for your site but for me it gets sometime difficult to add content every now and than. So what I am looking to do is to add news section as well to rotate content. I mean I am going to put some articles and on daily basis will rotate them. How else can I put fresh content ? does this rotate content thing count as fresh content ? Thanks
If you want visitors to revisit your site. You should consider updating it at least a week. Content rotation is good but it will bore your visitor soon if no new contents to find. New contents is also good for search engines. Setting aside at least an hour or two will do.
Fresh content of a few paragraphs every once in a while is fine. You can use RSS feeds to pull new content in. Set up several different versions of your home page,....rotate the content on the page. Use Server Side Includes (SSI) and Cron Jobs to rotate content in and out of your pages. Keep a blog and try to write to it daily.
User submitted content. Depending on the type of site, get images, news, reviews from your visitors, then you only need to log in and approve it every now and again which keeps new info/images flowing through the site.
