After setting up the proxy / website how do you promote it? Or do the topsites send enough traffic to make you the money? I presume its too hard to rank for proxies so you rely on referrals. Can anyone shed some light on traffic sources + how much traffic to expect when your starting out? Thanks a lot!
Personally, I stay away from topsites for proxies. The images clutter your site, make it slow loading, and really don't help that much. I would join some high-quality lists, buy some mass emails to proxy users/groups, myspace marketing, and link exchanges with other proxies. After that, I have found that proxy sites are pretty much viral.
