How to make PR0 - PR1

I need to make my high traffic site into a PR1 site to get my site onto just one more search result. How much will a PR4 backlink help? How hard is it to get to PR1?

Okay, thanks for the quick replies, I have a near $400 budget, but I plan on buying a War Room membership on warrior forums, and a few backlinks, do you think 1 PR4 will be enough?

EDIT: And of course, the link has to be related. My site is debunking a very popular scam site, so, would a business backlink help?

And to get a high pagerank,and that you have more searches on Google, try to be original.. (content) and try to have more backlinks..

 

I have plenty of traffic and searches, and my content is the first and only site with this on it. Im working on getting backlinks

Well, not before the next google update, meaning that google only updates PR about every 3-4 months. Nobody knows exactly when that will happen again

Zolwang, I'm not worried about traffic, I have over 1000 unique visitors a day, I just need to bump up the PR so I can get even more, so I can rank higher on a keyword I was previously at page 1 on, but now am page 2.

 

to get Pr 1 is not hard to do at all. And a Pr 4 backlink of cource would help a lot. But if you just wan to get Pr 1, you can just update your site every day and wait. The day is coming.

 

Everyone overlook PageRank - in reality it's actually pretty simple to gain, just keep gaining backlinks from high PR sites and you're golden next Google update

In my own experience I only need 10 backlinks from a PR4 sites for me my site to have a PR4.

 

for my point of view, i think quality beat quantity, just buy few PR 6 link and you sure grab PR 3 in next Google update
