How to make phpld write automatically descriptions ?

Hello friends !.

I am using phpld (free version-2.2)from the last week. When i submitted my directory sitemap to google, google results showed only some links present in it. It failed to showed the description of the topic/webpage .

When i viewed the source of the directory page, it had no meta description tag at all !.

How to make phpld write automatically descriptions about the category or some of the description of the links present in that page.

I would recommend that you spend some time writing good unique descriptions for your categories.

 

You can as well visit PHPLD FORUM and post your thread, as well as reading their other clients' posts that are similar to your issue.

Do you want to know how to enable Meta Descriptions and Keywords within PhpLD?

You need to input the meta info manually, not automatically.

 

do you know about duplicate content? it's just same if you do like that...

If you're interested to know how to enable the feature, so that you can write custom Meta tags and title tags for each category and detail pages, here is it:
Admin --> Settings --> Search Engine Optimization --> Enable URL rewrite: Turn it to "Yes", Enable META tags: Turn it to "Yes". Then go over to every category and listing page to do the job directory administrators do best.
