please do not rant and make personal attack
at this moment in history we have a chance to bring peace to Israel and its neighbors. you may say no way but let me explain. what has changed is that for the first time there ia a win win situation for all players.
Dr rice has recognizes this and is promoting it. president bush just showed support for Abbas.Tony Blair has accepted the job to promote it . saudis have a proposal on the table. some of the palastanians are also on board. olmert also can use some good news and has showed positive response. Dr Rice invited the Syrians my guess is that before president bush leaves office there is going to be a major agreement on the table.
if this succeed it would be a major blow to terrorism and fanatic islamist movement but i see two problem with its success
1-there is a very strong resistance from the extreme right on all sides
2-the peace movement is tired and disappointed.
we must energize these people as much as we can and not miss this moment.

IMHO, both sides needs more tolerance. especially israel has a very big power and they never stop using it even though they don't need.

what every one has to remember is that you do not have to like the person you make peace with and most probably will hate him to death
you do not need to trust him either.you must be able to verify
they all must agree to is that they want to leave in peace with each other

    thanks
but come to think about it we really do not need it
You can have parts of east Jerusalem for Palestinians and transfer the authority of the Moslem mosque and things like that to a country which Arab league decides
Now here is the beauty of this. The Arab leaders will become more popular in their own country, win for them . a big recruiting for the islamists is removed, win for world and they can introduce democracy little by little, win for their people. Israel will have peace Iranian regime will lose, win for iranians, win for usa, win for israel ,win for the world. Every body wins something and unfortunately bush becomes a hero sorry Gtech, couldn’t resist.

i think that muslems also believe in this . but god did not made the israel promise not to let anyone else live there or did he i don't know?
again there is a lot of people that oppose this and they are more religious than the main population of both side. if they can put something on the table that a good majority of people on both side can agree on they will take a vote . what makes this doable now is that it is a win win solution for everyone.

It is a very simple matter my friend they are at war and in war one side is always stronger than other. that is why they should make peace[by they i mean israeli and palestanians] . i am not asking them to like each other or trust each other these are hard they just have to decide they don't want to be at war any more. as i said if you think about this every one wins, even big business as they have to make a few countries

For the last 2,500 years, Bible students have been mesmerized by the prophecy of Daniel 9:27, which predicts the climactic seven-year period immediately preceding Armageddon. Thousands of prophecy scholars have asked themselves: Is it near? Could it begin this year?

And for the last 2,500 years the answer has been the same. Not this year. It’s not time yet.

However, those of us who understand the inerrancy of scripture know that someday that answer will change. The time will come when all of the required events will line up, and the final seven years will begin.

Now for the big question: Could this be that year?

The pieces of the prophetic puzzle have never been closer to being in place. Technology is obviously preparing society for the implementation of the mark of the beast. The conditions of Sodom and Gomorrah are being replicated by rampant homosexuality and the advent of same-sex marriage. The world’s first-ever world court has recently been established to enforce the edicts of the emerging world government.

And most importantly, events in Israel seem to be aligned to fulfill the prophesied conditions of the confirmation of the covenant, which begins the final seven years.

What the prophecies say about the final seven years
Daniel 9:27 specifically states that the Antichrist and the international community will confirm a covenant with Israel that will mark the beginning of the final seven years.

This confirmation of the covenant will apparently open the way for the sharing of the Temple Mount and the building of Israel’s Third Temple. Once the temple is completed, the offering of daily animal sacrifices will be resumed.

Animal sacrifices will not be tolerated for long by animal rights activists and the world community. They will be stopped by the Antichrist, who will stand in the temple claiming to be God.

All of these things will come to pass before the final three and one-half years begin.

    The present situation

Remember that the confirmation of the covenant will be an international agreement concerning the status of the Holy Land and the Temple Mount. It will apparently be confirmed with Israel by the Antichrist and the world community over which he rules.

Back in 2002, world leaders decided that Israelis and Palestinians would never come to peace terms on their own. On the initiative of then U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, a new alliance was formed called the Quartet. It was composed of the U.S., the EU, the Russian Federation and the UN. By including all the great powers plus the UN (representing every nation on earth), the Quartet truly is a world alliance.

The mission of the Quartet was to craft a Middle East peace plan, which would then be presented to both sides. It was anticipated that neither Palestinians nor Israelis would dare reject a peace plan that had the support of the entire world community.

The plan, called the Roadmap for Peace, was presented to both sides in April of 2003. It dealt with the boundaries of the Holy Land and the status of Jerusalem, and was accepted in June 2003 at a ceremony presided over by President Bush. Hopes were high, but nothing happened.

The first step in the Roadmap called for Palestinians to disarm the terrorists and dismantle terrorist entities such as Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. Arafat refused to allow this first step to be taken. Consequently, the Roadmap sat ‘dead in the water’ from June 2003 to November 2004.

Arafat’s death changed everything. England’s Tony Blair expressed the opinion that the roadblock to the Roadmap had been removed. President Bush boldly expressed his belief that peace in the Middle East would be achieved during his second term.

On January 9, 2005, Palestinian elections were held. Mahmoud Abbas received 62% of the vote, becoming the newly elected Palestinian president. The question in everyone’s mind was: Would Abbas have the strength and the courage to reign in the militants? If not, the peace process would be dead before it could be revived.

Abbas surprised everyone by deploying over 4,000 Palestinian policemen along the Gaza border. It was reported that they were given orders to fire upon any Palestinians that attempted attacks on Israel. The ball was back in Israel’s court.

    So what will happen?

We know from the Bible’s prophecies that somehow we move from where we are now to a shared Temple Mount with a Jewish temple built on it. It appears that this arrangement will be supervised by UN forces.

Can present developments possibly lead us into these prophetic fulfillments?

    It appears so.

If Abbas can convince Hamas and the Islamic Jihad to maintain the ceasefire, then negotiations can continue. The sharing of the Temple Mount will either be a result of negotiations or of unilateral action on the part of the Israelis. If UN troops participate in keeping the peace, then it is most likely that the sharing of the Temple Mount will be a result of a negotiated settlement.

The stated goal of all the actions presently being taken in the Palestinian-Israeli situation is to put the Roadmap for Peace back on track. If the Roadmap is successfully reestablished, it is very likely that this will mark the beginning of the final seven years.

First, you have to understand that there are 'terrorists' or 'extremists' on both sides who will kill the innocent for no reason. Second of all, who doesn't want peace?! Most of the people do want peace. Israel and others have to recognize the Hamas (elected government by the people) who doesn't bend over for America (ie; fatah)..

Also, Israeli control of America needs to stop before anything happens. The world doesn't like when America is sending weapons and money to Israel in unimaginable amounts! The world that I am speaking of is not just the Muslim world, it's Russia, China and others.

One more thing, people need to stop misusing the term 'anti-Semite' because it causes more conflict. They need to learn what a Semite is......
Another thing, Jews need to realize that if it weren't for the Muslims, they would of been extinct! Where did the Jews run after the Christians persecuted them in Europe? To Muslims Spain and Ottoman lands. Also, the Muslims need to realize is that now they need to be like the old days, where a Jew was like a brother and show compassion again.

That's all I gotta say for now..

The name of this thread is: "how to make peace between arabs and israel?" My question is: I thought the arabs already follow the religion of peace. And yet another religion seems to teach to look at the deeds not claims.
I don't think any one sane person (I don't mean ideologists) believe you can have peace in Israel. I consider myself a sane person and based on the history, I don't think the so called palestinians want peace. But then again, that's just me. If they wanted peace they could have stopped attacking the Jews. It's that simple.

    c-us kill all the palestanians
    d-we wait for Jesus

will you support a peace plan if Blair and Bush present it at very near future
