I downloaded so many .pdf creators/editors, all of them are hard as fuc* to make.. some of them are confusing, many of them I can't find how to add links, etc... Can someone recommend me a FREE .pdf creator that at least lets you add links and images.. thank you!
openoffice.org you need "Writer", but you'll need to download the whole suite. Use File/"Export to PDF"
Or, you can stop messing around with the free stuff and get the full version of Acrobat. Yes, it is an investment $$$ but you'll never ever have to putz around again. There simply is no substitute, in my mind, for Acrobat. As good as some of the free stuff is, i.e. Open Office, Acrobat is king. You can probably pick up a three year old version for $$ that will do everything you want and more. Get at least version 6. The Pro version is even better and has many enhancements over the standard version. -Steve
hey... i also try everything to make pdf... maybe the great are primo pdf and pdf suite... itry both and really helpful and easy to use
Yes, PrimoPdf is an excellent freebie and I recommend it to my clients when they have given me a text file with fonts I don't own . But once again very limited in features. Acrobat can be picky with certain fonts when distilling to pdf when there are license restrictions. Primo is not so particular and does not honor all license restrictions as Acrobat tries to do. Freebie Primopdf will make the pdf but lacks the feature to convert post distilled content to a link, something I think the OP wanted. I haven't used the paid version of Primo so I can't speak its advance features. -Steve
Just download and install Open Office - it has a free PDF creator in the Writer. If you have a word document that you want CONVERTED TO pdf, use the writer program to open the microsoft word file, then convert it to PDF. To convert to PDF - I think its under File - save as. Or File - Convert to PDF,,,, or something like that.
I use adobe acrobat professional for any pdf writing. With acrobat professional you can write a document in Microsoft word and convert it to pdf easily.
Acrobat Professional is the best in my opinion, but isn't cheap. For free options, Open Office Writer works well.
I've personally been using PDF995 for more than four years now. I have no doubt that the full Adobe suite is the best on the market, but PDF995 does a very decent job for free. You'll have to play around with it to add links and so on. Just make sure to download PdfEdit995 as well. It's all explained on their download page: http://www.pdf995.com/download.html.
Use MS word and create a word document and then click>> File >> Prepare >> Save As >> PDF or XPS. Thats all. The pdf creator is an addon you can get from Microsoft.
Just microsoft ord and add some plugin (I forgot the name, i think it is pdf creator, you can googling it) After that make your ebook on MS word, just write link as http://.... and you will get it when it is PDF then safe it into PDF. Voila, you are done.
pdfcreator is free that you can download in sourceforge. and its easy to use to create a pdf file for your ebook.
or alternatively you can download Cute pdf writer. its free. after your write your ebook in Microsoft Word, you print it as pdf. thats's it
I feel PDF995 has the most powerful options. If you want to disable cut/copy or print from the menu, you can do that with PDF995. That will make your PDF highly secure. No one can highlight and copy text from your PDF. They also cannot print it.
