How to make PayPal work? - Intriguing case

    Hello guys,
I recently opened a PayPal account and associated my Vijaya Bank account with it. Everything went fine. It said I had to/could link and confirm credit/debit card(s). I tried doing that with Vijaya Bank and Indian Overseas Bank International Debit Cards. Both were not accepted.
Now can I use this PayPal account to make payments? Although no cards are linked, I have a bank account associated to it. What is your opinion?
    Thank you.

    Thanks for quick reply!
    1. Now my paypal account is verified or un-verified?
    2. Which is the best option - using bank account directly or virtual credit card like entropay etc?

It is not possible for Indian users to verify their Paypal account using Indian Bank's debit cards. You can do so only using credit cards.

You can surely send/withdraw from your unverified account as well, the maximum limit being $ 500!

    1. Your Account is still unverified.
    2. My honest advice. Avoid using any virtual Credit card, apply for a credit card from your bank and then verify your account.

You can use your account as of now but you have a $500 withdrawal and $500 sending limit.

Well then, I'll use my $500 limit and then consider about applying a credit card. I'm not a heavy user of online transactions; in fact this is my first time!

That's great. But if you are coming close to the limit then apply for a CC, you never know when you may need the money but will not be able to use it due to the limits.

That,s right. Using a CC is the best way out. Obviously if you are using any illegal means to go through. You will get down any day.
    Thanks !

I think the best avenue (given you've already run into challenges associating debit cards to the PayPal account already) is to use the the EntroPay virtual VISA you suggested. It's instant and easy to use for purchases (not all merchants accept paypal anyway) ... almost all accept VISA.

You should be able to funds transfer from your bank and/or Debit or Credit Card as well.

    Good luck.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm trying to confirm my bank account itself with PayPal and not use any cards.
