It doesn't attract them actually; you mislead them into believing the ads are actually context. And they click on them hoping to find more info on the topic they're reading.

But as said on the interview, they'd never click on them if the ads weren't interesting.

Adsense ad Format

THese type of formats are working for me they are easier to see.

the large rectangle - 336 x 280,

the medium rectangle - 300 x 250

the wide skyscraper 160 x 600

 

I think it takes a lot of time before Google Adsense approves your application. I have a blogsite and and I am still on the process of building up articles so that it will be acceptable to Google's standards and be able to get high-paying advertisements.

It is a no-instant thing but rather, something you have to work hard for and something that will test your patience. Nevertheless, a lot of people gain income from Google Adsense, so, I wanna give it a try too!
