My WP is installed in mysite.com/wordpress. I think I would prefer for it to be in the root. Is there an easy way to change that or would I have to delete and start over? Other than that, if I hit mysite.com, it shows a directory of cgibin and wordpress. If I click on Wordpress, it opens up my WP blog. But if someone hits mysite.com, I want it to go to my WP blog. How do I fix that?
Do you already have posts? If so, you should make a backup. Then re-install Wordpress on the root domain, then you can insert the backup posts again. Otherwise, if you want to keep it the current then read more here http://www.seoworkers.com/seo-articles-tutorials/permanent-redirects.html Code (markup):
You can do it by moving only index.php, maybe this video step by step tutorial will help. Let me know.
