Hi Welshgirl. Welshgirl is right. I downloaded a do follow plug in and then added keyword luv just to tidy things up a bit.
There is none. Some people don't like to make their blog do follow because they say it can attract more spam however wordpress has aiskment installed and depending on what plug in you use there are further spam controls.
okay, so people would get backlinks by making comments on the dofollow blog... But what would be advantage for me?
Increased traffic. a sense of readership community especially if you reply back to the comments. Possible repeat visits. I have a list of bookmarked blogs that I will always go back to because the owner always join in with the comments on the thread and sometimes it can turn into a very good discussion. It is more about engaging with your reader rather than anything else and thanking them for their loyalty.
