How to Make My Site Look Better?

My website company doesn't offer many of the template styles that are the most popular. So, I'm trying to make the site look interesting, despite the annoying limitations I have.

Please take a look and let me know what you think really needs to be addressed:

    Thanks!

Thanks aleydoank. Yes, I'm working now to improve the content. I just created a Marketing Tips Center as a way to multiply my content.

Any have opinion about the background? Color scheme? Header?

Yes it looks simeple, you have to improve a lot by using more styles on the site for fonts, colors and cool header and logo needed.

    Good feedback, karthimx - thanks!

What do you think about this . . . I don't have CSS access, so cannot easily change the color of my sidebar. So I was thinking of making each module from scratch with a *shaded* background. If I do this for every little module that goes down the right sidebars, then it would look more like a column.

Do you think this would help the look?

If you're a designer, I would really appreciate your suggestions for making this site better: http://copyclique.com

How should I integrate more color, as someone suggested above?

Not a real big fan of the wood look. The site looks ok now, but I would recommend a redesign if you want an impressive looking site.

You've got to lose the 80's woodgrain background. It's awful and immediately dates your site, right off the bat I want to click off and I feel whatever is being presented or relayed to me is old/outdated.

The Follow Us on Twitter looked pixelated and grainy. Be kinda nice just replaced with one of the available and colorful icons?

Categories and Pages are really bunched and overwhelming up there, would really look at cutting down/combining some of them.

All my opinion, the central blog looks great.

Oh, the "Visit our Marketing Tips" should be more of a 'highlighted' color, more a new thing, a special thing. No woodgrain there. Go with something colorful.

Playing with the logo couldn't hurt. Moving the web content copyrighting services line under the CopyClique, freeing up that image a bit more and not breaking up the sentence...

Anyway, have fun tweaking, sorry if none of this helps!

Select better color scheme for your site and make a nice header to make your site more attractive

    Thanks so much, everyone!

I'm going to try everything you all suggested. Better yet, maybe I'd better "hire" someone to do all design ideas you gave.

Any other comments? All really are welcome and are truly helpful!

PS I really thought wood grain was "in"!! Maybe it's that the particular color of wood isn't in, but others are? :)

Doesn't matter - I'm not "married" to the wood. I just thought the color worked as a background.

    Thanks!
