It's probably all the embedded megavideos.
Megavideos take a while to load, and you have many on one page.

Also, the video placements are broken in Opera if you care.

You are using wordpress blog. You need to install caching mechanism. Install the Wp-Supercache plugin. It will speed up your website a lot.

Supercache is going to kill your site if you're using any of those "related posts", "most popular posts", star ratings, etc plugins..just know that.

If anything, this sounds like an issue with your webhost & bandwidth.

Yes ! Thank you ! I can never get Super Cache to work and it's not worth disabling plug ins that make up the site.
From my experience, Cache plug ins only work well if you have a basically plain blog without a lot of functions, but in that case ,you really don't need a cache plug in.

I would suggest deleting any old plug ins that you are not using anymore, running a database repair just to make sure all of your tables are functioning properly, clear out any text boxes that aren't in use, and cut down on the amount of videos and images that load on the home page.

Some Social, and Favicon plug ins make your site load slow as well. I would probably check plug ins one by one and see if any are slowing down the site....many times people use plug ins for things that can be done with a simple line of code or 2. More plug ins = slower load times.
