How to Make My Laptop Faster?

I played in the Guild Wars 2 beta a week or two ago, and my computer had massive lag the entire time. I'm afraid that when the actual game is release that it will just lag even worse. Are there any options I can use that would increase the speed of my laptop? I'm willing to do options that I have to pay for, but I would prefer things I can do for free.

The first aid would be definitely adding some RAM, however the we wanna know what is your lap top's specs. We all know every game have minimum requirement before installating and playing, if you failed to meet it, and forcefully played the game ignoring the reminder, then expect some PC troubleshooting afterwards. Except to add some more RAM, you can also disabled some auto running application and background processes. But be careful, any program you will terminated might be a system program that affects the overall performance of your system.

First question: is the laptop's GPU good enough to play GW2 without lag? Second is do you have enough RAM? Third is how many open tabs in firefox and chrome do you have running :p

For performance you could replace the HDD with a 7200rpm or an SSD. SSD's are good for laptops as they improve battery life and provide a "second wind" as they load very fast. Gaming performance would only increase if the game was having issues accessing data from the original hard drive. Usually loading of levels is faster on SSD's.

Computer game's performance is highly dependent on its video card... so upgrading it will surely make so much improvement to your gaming experience.

There are several ways to make laptop faster first of all start with a disk cleanup then after clear games history or cache and also clear browser cookies. Disk fragment is also makes laptop faster because its deletes extra data from drives and makes additional space for drives. Install registry cleaner software to clean unwanted registries from pc. I think for doing this you can improve your laptop performance.

I think might be some spyware or virus running into your pc that is why your pc goes slow down. To get rid out of this problem you have to install some antivirus or anti spyware programs into your pc to delete these types of spywares and viruses.
