How to make my keyword rank better

Hey im new with key words i have a feel Wordpress blogs with custom domain and hosting. I have All In One SEO, I use about 3-4 strong key words per post by using the Google Keyword tool. But how do i make those key words rank better on Google i don't understand that part.

Put them in the title tag - then try to put a phrase in the header - then put it a paragraph. Then put them in a the text (may the 1st or 2nd paragraph). You might want to make the KWs bold font.

 

There is a lot more to keyword research besides using the tool and then just picking one that suits you You need to do your homework and find out what your competition is. You need to evaluate their sites and find a weakness. Then determine what you need to do to beat them out. Sometimes it is a breeze. Other times you will be wasting your time.

 

try to get some backlinks to your website
your ranking will be better

 

use those keywords in title tag, meta description and use the bold text for them in contents at few places... then get the backlinks for those keywords ...

 

I don't know how long your posts are but your keyword should be more than 1% of the text. and as is said, in the title and description. try to get backlinks etc.

 

If i had to say one thing it would be to get backlinks to your internal pages from sites related to your posts content..

 

I suggest to create backlinks, some offline directories submission, Social bookmarking website. Most important check the keywords volumn search

 

You need some quality backlinks to ensure your site get indexed by Google.

 

Use that keywords on your link as your anchor text. This will help your site to gain backlinks that will also help to rank your site better.

 

When you write the content, use suitable keyword density - something like 2.4%. That will be good enough to register with the search engines as optimized for those keyword phrases.

I agree with zeekstern. One of the biggest mistakes internet marketeers make is to not fully do keyword analysis.

Specifically competition.

Before you start backlinking and doing all the other great things suggested here. Check what level your comeptition is.

If you have picked keywords with 20,000,000 competing pages, you have got a long road to travel.

If you do a forum search form keyword competition i'm sure you will find some good methods

Can I ask what you mean that they "cannot be relative"?

 

write a few blog posts using the same keyword, with similar keyword density, and link them together.

 

Analyse the top 10 pages of the serp result for your keywords and then mimic their seo metrics so you can achieve faster a top 10 positions. Once you have that, build some links with proper anchor text
