At PR 5 and 6 you can start to sell links on the basis of that PR. Look for website owners with new websites along similiar lines and approach them. Make the price very reasonable..make the positioning of the text links in areas that actually receive some attention. IE in hot click zones...

Basically if the users focus of interest on a page is smack bang centre, you want there ads just alongside that, or just above it, and within clicking range....See how I have the adsense ads layed out on the games pages on my arcade...Look at the game, look at the ads...they completely surround it.

Do something similiar with your text link buyers and you'll probably get repeat business if they get decent CTR.

I have a PR 5 website and wouldn't actually consider it to be able to get "consistant" source of revenue. I think I'd need to be at least PR 7 or just get more visitors (actually maybe 150-300 uniques/days)

Well selling text links would be the best source of revenue for your website... find for possible link buyers and negotiate with them...

It depend on what kind of traffic you getting. You could consider putting some kind of ppc program(adsense/YPN, ect.) in your pages.

Textlinks is a very up and down income source. You must constantly look for advertisers. You could put a ad in the Link Sales section of DP if you going to sell links.

    Hope this helps

You know, you put your site's PR as the criterion for estimating some revenues. So, logically, AdSense and selling backlinks really appear to be the most relevant sources to monetize the site. However, being one more Adsense site is not a very good veriant. What is your site about? How did you get that PR? I think your site's potential may be bigger than an ads site.

I am not sure whether the PR5 site means high traffic or not. if the traffic is high, then you can sell ads, or run affilicate program. that sure will make you more money.

Banner Ads, advertising is the best way of fetching the revenue!
if your site is getting good impressions per day cpm ads are also a good choice. avoid getting into selling link its better to link up only related sites.
