    Yes You Can make Money from Your PR 1 site by putting Google ads ( Google Adsense) , Adbrite, Infolinks & So on.. & you can also Sell Text links But not Generate too much money by selling Links.. But its good for nothing :)..

    First of all try to increase traffic for your website and for this you need to create good amount of backlinks, relevant category placement of website. You can add Google adsense on your website for earning money from it.

    Firstly I think you should improve your PR to 3 or more then it will be easy for you to get high paying advertisers.Till then try to monetize with adsense and affiliate products.
