Mubin just one small question: when You say that proxies "Eat" bandwich, what is that aprox. from Your expirience for example for proxy who have 100 peoples daily who came and surf thru proxy,what is daily/monthly aprox bandwich in that case ?

Its all relative to how many pages that person surfs and what sort of content they are looking at. Its hard to estimate. I use about 80MB of BW/day on my CGI proxy with about 150 visitors and 5000 pages per day.

 

yes, it all depends on your user. If they are just going to myspace not that bad.

If somehow it is used for hotlinking on forums (This happened with me with some HUGE chinese forum) than it will take alot. Also if the people come to watch videos or download music than that will also lead to alot of bandwith being used.
