I am writing this because 4 weeks ago I thought there were only 2 ways of monetizing Flash Games. 1. Put Ads on websites that host games (ie. Adsense) 2. Build in "In-Game" purchases (ie. Farmville) That's about when I found out 1UpAds and "In Game" advertising. I've come to realize that 1UpAds is a fast growing site that lets Flash programmers add a simple script to their Flash game and show various ad formats. The programmer makes money when somebody clicks on the ad (just like AdSense). This seemed pretty straight forward but 1UpAds is different than the rest in these ways. - It runs "In Game", most likely on a load screen, unlike AdSense which runs out of the game usually above/below/to-the-side of the game. - You can run 1UpAds along with AdSense to make even more money. I looked at their competition and it seems that their competitors don't get it. The biggest competitor "MochiMedia/MochiAds" doesn't release what percentage of revenue the game maker gets. By comparison 1UpAds is a lot more transparent and even has an FAQ that details how you can track clicks! Other competitors like advertisegame.com only allows game advertisers to advertise. There's a lot more products out there than just "Games" so it limits the flash programmer to just a small percentage of the ad market. 1UpAds is simple, honest, straightforward and run by a well known blogger. I am thinking the world of 1UpAds right now and even blogged about it on my personal blog http://bit.ly/Hh7WCb Check out 1UpAds if you want to earn more money from your Flash games with little to know work. Feel free to PM me if you want a special link to guarantee the best rates.
