Hello everyone, I have wasted a lot of money promoting products on google adwords. I sold a lot of products but after a while I made loss because of the price got to high per click. But what happens if you know which keywords your competitors are buying and which keywords make them money. If you can do this you will never wast any money anymore. I know you saw a lot of stuff before but this is a no-brainer.
Whats the guarantee that your competitors are making profit? If your competitor knew which keywords you are bidding, still that wouldnt have been of any use, right? Its always better to do your own research rather than trying to copy, IMHO. Just to add, the success doesnt depend on keyword alone. It depends on well you convert also.
Here's an obvious suggestion, have you looked in source view and the keywords? As for profitability, at any one time a proportion of the advertisers won't be running at a profit. I've been promoting a product for 9 months and seen many competitors come and go over a period of a few weeeks. The thing is to find the adspend that maximises the profit and don't worry about position - unless you're in danger of being bumped off the bottom. And of course do your best to exclude window shoppers.
Knowing what keywords the competition is using doesn't really help. Youstill have no idea whichkeywords are actually making them money.
That's cool. I see this comment a lot, in my opinion, it means that you are not approaching PPC correctly. Your investment into Adwords or PPC should return a profit. I know many, myself included that earn $2 for every $1 invested on a daily basis...so that is not handing money to anyone, that is a solid investment vehicle, which I have not been able to find returns like that anywhere. If you choose not to learn Adwords, that's cool, it isn't for everybody...and there are positives and negatives to any form or method of marketing, you just have to find the one that works for you...and it sounds like you have Travis
there are so many variables that go into whether or not you will profit, than just choosing keywords. your ad copy, your service/product pricing / offers, your sites usability (HUGE deal), landing page quality, etc... it's all about testing, and you usually have to end up spending quite a bit of money at first until you can tweak something that will work.
Thats why SEO is better IMHO. Rank well and the money will flow in autopilot day after day after day. It takes more time but it is well worth it casue SERP listings are FREE.
and serp listings change frequently while ppc is far more stable. I do a lot of both, but when google changes things up I can always count on my ppc earnings. Being completely reliant on either is a bad idea.
It is well worth it but very hard to achieve now days. PPC offers you a little bit of insurance if google decides for some reason to put you on page 100.

Dude nobody gets everything by birth ,if you are hurted once you will gain again don't feel that you wasted adwords money ,be happy for the knowledge you got for spending money
I think firstly you will have to follow that keywords on which the traffic is less. By using this you can fulfill the hopes of that persons who are actually looking for such products. Also it saves lot of money because the bid on that keyword will be less and you make profit.
