How to make money with a forum

    hi ive started a forum called Thatisdigital just as a hobby and was wondering how i can make money from it in the future?

    The most common solution is to add a PPC program such as adsense or bidvertiser. However, you could also sell membership depending on your niche. I wouldn't recommend adding affiliate offers or anything since I've lacked a good response from these on my forums. Just remember, if you've a recurring member base, then don't place anything intrusive on the site that'll discourage them from returning

    You can start with AdSense I think.

    In forums people dont wanna do much clicks, so you need to have lot of targeted traffic to cover that.

    Not sure how much adsense will work...will users of the forums really click on the ads? You can certainly test that. What about adding premium content? Is there anything you can add in the form of presentations, specific & valuable info, interviews, etc, etc. If you do that you can then think about creating a paid membership site.

    You can also sell banners directly to others on your forum, size may be 468x60, 88x31 or other sizes that you see fit.
