I thought you didn't get credited for clicking on your own ads. I never have, when I've seen one that interested me and clicked on it.

I only do when I see one for a site that I want to visit. I wouldn't think you would get penalized for one or two clicks per month.

Is it worth risking a ban? If you make signifigant money, you wouldn't tempt fate like that.

It's basically laziness. I can't be bothered typing the url into the address bar. As my revenue is steadily increasing, guess I should stop being lazy. Heck, if I was after committing click fraud, I'd just go use a friends computer. It's just that when you make a site, you put stuff on it that interests you, which means some of the AdSense ads also interest you.

Do you get a decent check every month? I don't understand laziness being the excuse. You spend tons of time creating sites and optimizing them to get the best out of your AdSense but you are too lazy to stop yourself clicking on your own ads?

It doesn't make sense to me

I guess the site that you interested is from the ads that display on your high paying keyword page. Just one or two clicks a months is a lot. Since that you use your friends computer to do it, I guess the revenue will still credited to your account

No, I said if I wanted to commit click fraud, I'd use a friends computer, not that I actually do it. Also, I've never got anything from clicking on links from my own computer.

Glad to hear that, my advice is don't ever click your own ads. You will jeopardize a potential of $1,000.00 revenue per day... ;)

Now I wish I was earning that now.

I'd never advocate click fraud on AdSense, simply because I also advertise using Adwords.

The key is to stay focus on delivering high value keyword focus content and working a great links program so your content is ranked well. Give it some time and you will be rewarded with this win for the SE, win for the Advertiser and win for you.
