my friend asked me - how to make money from the internet? How do I answer him? I cant spend hours teaching him how to do affiliate marketing or the 'ads' stuff. Help me out...

hmm... 8 everything is absolutely right...there is a lot of money in forum posting...people are paid like upto 0.20 $ per post !!
But that isn't really going up the ladder when making money online You can write reviews and articles for pay instead (much more than forum posting)
My advice is to send him to this forum, and if he doesn't take to it to just give up. It's not worth spending time teaching someone who doesn't "get it".

You can try: www.adpaid.com (they pay) Again, you get paid very little.. I would recommend picking up some sort of skill.. website or graphics design, etc if you want to make more money online. Adsense is also a good direction to go.
