i'm not a blogger myself so I dont have this problem myself. all I i know is that before uploading any new pages alway spend a couple of minutes tweeking the content especially for adsense.
i have the same problem and how m i gonna use this in the forum <!-- google_ad_section_start --> <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
I think its essential that this is done to get good results from Adsense instead of taking the lazy way and plastering the site plain content. UnderEstimated using the section targeting is a good idea but can end up in disaster if its not done right. I placed it into one of my blogs and ended up with only blog realted ads for nearly two months.
I'm hoping that Shawn will implement this in the DP forum, as the ad relevancy here is way off... Cryo.
Be very careful using that in a blog if it goes wrong all your ads will end up being blog related which has happened to me before
so if i run a blog should i put these tags around the comment section to reduce the amount of blog adverts i get.
its already ugly so it can't get much worse. ive put the tags around a few words.. but no change so far. people say they general like my bl0g but ive only had 1000 impressions. is this good for 1st week of blogging?
As far as I know it will take a few weeks for the tags to kick in. 1000 impressions is not too bad for a weeks work. What I suggest to do is not to worry about the Adsense for now as you'll only waste your time trying to make money that cant really be made with minimum traffic. Keep working on your content on a daily basis and the traffic will start coming. Remember your not going to make great money over night so you need to be in this for the long haul to make it happen. I spent 6 months on one blog before I started seeing a proper return on traffic and Adsense.
