how to make invoice?

Anybody knows how to make a proper invoice (not paypal invoice) for selling online service or product? Is there any easy format to follow?

I am selling links in my site and my buyer wants a invoice.

 

Check out this. Basically you simply list what you've sold, and throw a report with a running unique number.

Need to check your local laws first - in the UK for example you must clearly state your legal status so if you are a sole trader the invoice must have "Your Name t/a Your Business Name" on it.

Other than that it is either something you print from your accounting/ book keeping package or a basic excel spreadsheet.

 

is there any difference between invoice and invoice receipt? i think invoice is something sent to pay, and since my buyer already paid me what should i send?

 

Just mark the invoice "Paid in Full". That will suffice.
