how to make http://blog.com/wp-content not accessible

hello thats my question... i have noticed my blog has been showing the contents as well as the uploads... What file do i need to create to be able to prevent it...

Go to your hosting control panel and disable directory listing[indexing].

 

Try adding:

Options -Indexes

Code (markup):

To the end of your .htaccess file.

 

Or you can make a blank file using notepad. Save the file as index.htm and upload it to the http://blog.com/wp-content directory
