How to make glass img? plz help

I do not know how to make a glass img / icon....

i show a sample glass img

plz let me know the best software and how to do this? easy way ...

Photoshop and Fireworks have styles that you can apply to get a glass look. Duplicate the layer, flip it vertical, lower it, add a mask and and put a gradient to it. That's an easy method.

 

I use photshop 7.0 could u tell me where step by step

i cant get add mask and set gradient over it ...

 

Why don't you use a glass button action script if you do not want to learn how to do it?

Photoshop 7.0, eh? Now you're taking me back.... I'm not sure that I remember all the feature sets in 7.0 specifically. Do a google search. There is bound to be some article left out there showing how to create buttons that would work in PS7.0

 

To make the example image is very simple bro.

I recommend photoshop cs4? or cs3 whatever same thing lol but anywho
Just use the rounded rectangle tool (5px or 10px depends how round you want it )

Double click the layer in the layer panel and you'll get a pop up
Click on gradient layer and add a gradient style

Now you got your sexy....box thing all you do is highlight the layer in your layer panel and press ctrl J this well duplicate the layer

Now go into edit>transform flip vertical, in this case it wouldn't change it much cause it'll look the exact same lol

But now just drag your duplicated layer down a little below the original

set the opacity in the layer panel to 50% or what ever you prefer

Now take the square marquee tool and highlight a little section and right click and hit feather

set to 5 or how you like and then press ok and then delete!

now you have your images d(^_^d)
