How to make cononical redirec in .htacess file

    Hi,

    Any body knows how to make redirect of my cononical url

    i want move my these url abc.com and abc.com/index.htm

    to new location like www.abc.com

    I'm just winging this on the fly... But the following rules should take care of both.

    1st you'll likely need the following at the top of the .htaccess in the root of your web:

    Then place the following rules in the .htaccess located in the root of your web.

    ]

    If you have other redirects in the root .htaccess, make sure the last two lines above that take care of non-www to www is at the end of the .htaccess.
