Hey guys, I recently made this site, http://forumcraving.com . Basically, it pulls the most popular topics off a bunch of forums (soon i'll add this one haha). Due to the nature of the site, the content displayed on the page can be from a bunch of different categories. Although I think it may be a decent idea for a site, I am having trouble marketing the site and getting traffic. So basically, how can I increase my SEO? I.e. I'm not sure what people would search to find a site like mine haha. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Good idea for a forum. A similar one is www.big-boards.com so maybe try to reverse engineer their marketing method and duplicate it on your forum. As far as SEO, I'm not sure what exactly someone would type in to find it. Maybe something like "list of most popular forums" or something along those lines?
I guess this is something similar to boardreader, keeping track of popular forums. You could use forum signature marketing method for this - post in those forums from where you are aggregating info with appropraite signature link line. That way you can possibly get traffic originating from those sites.
