    There are so many methods to build free backlinks
    -You can get membership in so many forums and contribute to discussions. Place your URL in the signature.
    -Blog commenting
    -Submit articles(Place your link in author bio)
    -Press release submission (Place your links in contact info or author bio)
    -Directory submission

    Exactly. Just try to get links from pages with High PR. The better quality link, the better for your site and its rankings.
